Beautiful Rain (JDorama)

Saya selalu tertarik dengan film-film inspirasional, baik movie atau pun serial drama. Akhir-akhir ini saya tertarik untuk menonton drama serial jepang. Saya googling dengan keyword "inspirational japan dorama" kemudian saya dapati sejumlah review beberapa film bagus dari sejumlah netizen. 

Salah satu yang kemudian saya tonton adalah Beautiful Rain. Setiap episode film ini selalu membuat sangat terharu sampai meneteskan air mata.


Ini sedikit review dari saya tentang film ini.



Dalam dorama ini tokoh sentral adalah seorang ayah dan anak perempuannya yang masih berusia 8 tahun. Ibu sang anak telah meninggal sejak dia bayi sehingga ayahnya membesarkannya seorang diri. Sang ayah (Keisuke) sangat mencintai anaknya (Miu) dan mendiang istrinya. Ayahnya bekerja pada sebuah pabrik di sebelah rumahnya, sejenis pabrik pembubutan material logam. Sampai suatu ketika ia mengalami kecelakaan kerja yang mungkin menjadi penyebab ia mengalami early-onset alzheimer disease (penyakit alzheimer bagi orang dengan usia masih kurang dari 65 tahun).


Penyakit Alzheimer adalah penyakit yang belum ada obatnya. Keisuke selalu berusaha merahasiakan hal ini dari Miu dan rekan kerjanya. Sampai akhirnya berbagai masalah pun muncul akibat hal yang selalu ditutup-tutupi olehnya. Keisuke kemudian mulai menceritakan penyakitnya kepada rekan kerja dan bosnya. Beruntung Keisuke memiliki rekan-rekan dan kerabat yang sangat perhatian dan baik hati. Nuansa kekeluargaan sangat ditonjolkan dalam setiap episode drama ini.

  

Sampai menjelang akhir serial, Keisuke masih berkata kepada Miu bahwa penyakitnya dapat disembuhkan. Keisuke selalu mengingat janjinya kepada istrinya untuk membesarkan Miu sebaik-baiknya. Miu selalu berusaha menjadi anak yang baik dan ingin selalu membantu ayahnya yang malah sering mengakibatkan kesedihan buat Keisuke dan Miu sendiri. Keisuke sempat memutuskan agar Miu tinggal bersama kakek dan neneknya, namun gagal. Pada akhirnya Miu mengetahui bahwa penyakit ayahnya tidak dapat disembuhkan, hal tersebut malah membuat ia ingin selalu bersama ayahnya.


Pada episode akhir, diceritakan bahwa dokter yang menangani Keisuke mundur dari rumah sakit dan memutuskan untuk ikut ke dalam riset di Amerika tentang pengobatan Alzheimer untuk beberapa tahun. Lalu diperlihatkan bahwa rekan-rekan Keisuke yang terus membantu Keisuke dan Miu dalam keseharian.

Recently, I discovered that UpCloud has introduced a new plan called the Essentials plan, which enables certain cloud services to be deployed at no cost.
